Workshop Formats

Customized Challenge Debrief & Walkthrough

• Participants attempt tailored challenges independently over a set period.
• Facilitators are available to host an optional debrief session to review solutions, share insights, and answer questions.

Guided Customized Challenge Walkthrough

• Facilitators walk participants through a specific challenge from start to finish, providing step-by-step guidance and explanations.

Mini-Competitions

• Facilitators host mini-competitions in which participants compete individually or in small teams to solve curated and customized challenges within a set timeframe.
• Facilitators oversee the competition, provide real-time support, and conclude with a debrief to review solutions and announce top performers.
• Mini-competitions include leaderboards, certificates, and optional recognition for winners.

Challenges

With over 290 challenges to choose from the Practice Area*, both Individuals (with defensive and offensive tracks) and Teams challenges are available with various levels of difficulty.

All challenges are aligned to work roles from the NICE Framework. These include:

You may request specific challenges from the Practice Area or targeted NICE Work Roles/skillsets based upon your preference.

• Within the site, challenges labeled "Track A" denote defensive cybersecurity skills, and "Track B" denote offensive cybersecurity skills.
• You can also filter challenges based upon their skillsets by clicking on the corresponding labels under the "Need a place to start?" heading.

Please Note: In-person workshops are available on a limited basis and are subject to facilitator availability and location constraints. Virtual workshops are highly encouraged and offer the same level of customization and interactivity.
